To make a reservation, you can use our online booking system above. For groups of six rooms or more, you can mail us directly at rotterdam@theusual.com or brussels@theusual.com.
Check-in is from 15:00. Check-out is at 11:00. A late check-out is possible until 13:00. You can decide to book this extra during your stay or on the day of your check-out. Please inform one of our friendly hosts at reception.

For prepaid rates, payment will be done at the time of booking via debit card, credit card or iDeal payments. For reservations with credit/debit card guarantee, you card will be charged at the end of your free cancellation period. City tax (where applicable) will be due upon arrival to the hotel and can be made via credit or debit card.
Invoices for reservations made in the hotel or at theusual.com will be issued with an invoice via email after check-out from your stay. In case you need to amend the address on your invoice, please specify during the pre-check-in process or advise one of our friendly hosts during your stay.
Absolutely! During the reservation process, you will be asked “anything you would like us to know?”. Please use this opportunity to outline any special requests for your stay and we will do our best to accommodate you where possible.

Our cancellation policy varies depending on the rate and room type you choose. We always offer flexible booking options for those people who would like the possibility of canceling or altering their reservation at a later date. Details of the cancellation policy can be found in your confirmation email. Depending on the rate you choose, breakfast may or may not be included. Please be sure to select the plan which includes your preferences. Forgot to book it? No worries, this can be added on at the check-in desk during your stay.
Yes, all of our rooms and social spaces are fully air conditioned.
Our check-in time is 15:00. However, if we have rooms available earlier, you can ask for an early check-in. Early check-in is available from noon onwards and the cost is € 10- per hour. If there are no rooms available, you always have the possibility to leave your luggage at the hotel and come back later in the day.

Our rooms are serviced every three days unless otherwise requested. Need something extra? Be sure to check in with one of our hosts.
Our hotels do not have parking available. But there are parking options nearby, which also include electrical charging points. In Rotterdam we recommend Apcoa parking Westblaak https://www.apcoa.nl/en/parking/rotterdam/apcoa-parking-westblaak/ In Brussels we recommend Interparking Rogier https://www.interparking.be/ Here you can also reserve a spot directly with them online.
